In 2014, the problem of police brutality forced itself to the forefront of the national conversation following the brutal killing of Americans at the hands of the police. This increased attention has been a success for activists from all walks of life and for the well-being of citizens. The problem of racism and police murders that involve it is finally receiving widespread acknowledgment and opposition. Random Examples on Life Inside “Police State America” (VIDEOS)

We no longer have to ask foreign refugees what it is like living inside a police state. All we have to do is to read the daily accounts of innocent Americans being abused and murdered through the excessive use of force being used by local police who have been federalized by the Department of Homeland Security. What used to be the beacon of hope, has rapidly become the spotlight of tyranny. I am speaking of America, both then and now. When heinous acts of physical abuse were revealed in American prisons inside of Iraq, we should have considered that someday … Continue reading Random Examples on Life Inside “Police State America” (VIDEOS)

The video was recorded by a local news videographer who was on the scene, which goes to show you how out of control the cop was to do that in front of the media. Shoot First, Ask Questions Later! America’s Growing Problem with Police Brutality

Police brutality need not always involve the wrongful killing of a suspect by a police officer, although it is increasingly the case. Since the murder of Eric Garner, I have watched over 80 videos of alleged police brutality and they don’t all involve wrongfully murdering a suspect. Police brutality can come in a variety ways. Although I do not think most police cross the line of acceptable use of force, I have concluded that most police departments have some rogue officers who are indeed crossing the line and most of these officers are being protected by the “thin blue line”. … Continue reading Shoot First, Ask Questions Later! Judge Rules Cops Can Now Break Fingers To Compel People To Open Cell Phones

In another shocking display of jurist malfeasance, Virginia Circuit Judge Stephen Fucci has ruled that police can pry open your hands and force you to unlock your cell phone that has a fingerprint security feature. Fucci: while a criminal defendant can’t be compelled to hand over a passcode to police officers for the purpose of unlocking a cellular device, law enforcement officials can compel a defendant to give up a fingerprint. Here’s the rub though, with … Continue reading Judge Rules Cops Can Now Break Fingers To Compel People To Open Cell Phones
