KANSAS CITY, KS (KCTV) –Three widely used cancer drugs will cost hospitals millions of dollars more a year.
Pharmaceutical company Genentech makes Avastin, Herceptin and Retuxan which are drugs more than half of cancer patients use to battle symptoms like compromised immune systems.
Genentech says it switched to a specialty distributor that helps the pharmaceutical company keep better tabs on its product.
