Former president says he expects to become a grandfather by the end of the month

Bill Clinton has let slip that his family are on baby watch after saying that he expected to become a grandparent by the end of the month.

The former president gave a substantial clue to his only child Chelsea’s due date when he told CNN: “I hope by the first of October, I’ll be a grandfather.

“I can’t wait. We’re on watch now,” he went on.
